Before they had a single source of truth, contracts were stored in folders on the legal team’s computers. Keeping contracts organized was extremely difficult, and if anyone else in the legal department or the company needed access to a contract, whoever had that contract on their computer desktop had to be present to send it to the necessary people. Especially as Home Chef grew larger, visibility and metrics were two growing needs that the legal team focused on.Solution
Home Chef needed a central location where the proper parties could be given access to documents at any time and all of the legal team had visibility into contracts.
