Introducing Concord Horizon: A New Era in AI Contract Management

Contract management software hasn’t changed in a decade. Dashboards, filters, and forms have gotten sleeker, but the core experience hasn’t: users still click through systems to find information and build reports. Legal and Operations leaders waste hours each week hunting for renewal dates and payment terms buried across hundreds of agreements.

Concord Horizon changes that.

Launching today, Horizon is the first conversational, AI-first contract intelligence platform. It’s not software with AI added, but a complete rebuild designed around conversation, speed, and trust.

Three things that make Horizon different

1. An AI platform, not software with AI added

Horizon is built from the ground up around artificial intelligence. It doesn’t bolt AI onto an existing interface. The entire workflow has been reimagined so the system itself understands contracts, context, and intent — and returns verified answers from your live data.

2. Conversation complements navigation

You can still click through views and filters, but most work starts with a question:

“Which vendor contracts renew in Q4?”

“Show me payment terms longer than net 60.”

Horizon interprets your intent, retrieves the relevant contracts, and displays results with links back to the original documents. You can act immediately — review clauses, export reports, or share results with teammates.

3. Governed intelligence

Every result in Horizon is permission-aware and fully auditable. Role-based access control, SSO, and activity logging are built into the core. Teams get the flexibility of conversational AI with the security and governance required by enterprise standards.

What’s new inside Horizon

AI Search, Copilot, and Reporting

Horizon introduces a set of integrated AI capabilities that work together — each purpose-built for different levels of insight.

  • AI Search: Combines OCR, metadata, and semantic retrieval to surface the right contracts or clauses instantly. Results are ranked by meaning, not just keyword matches, and always stay within role-based access permissions.

  • AI Copilot: Enables natural-language queries across the portfolio — such as “Summarize all customer contracts renewing this quarter” — and produces cited, verifiable answers drawn from structured contract data.

  • AI Reporting: Builds real-time portfolio reports from live data. Ask “Show renewal exposure by region for the next 90 days” and get a governed, exportable table linked to the underlying agreements.

Concord MCP: Work directly from ChatGPT or Claude

Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Horizon can safely connect to external AI assistants.

  • Ask questions about your Concord data directly from ChatGPT or Claude — no exports needed.

  • Pull live, permissioned contract data into your reports, decks, or analyses.

  • All access stays governed: data never leaves your Concord environment, and every query is logged.

The new inbox

Horizon’s redesigned Inbox brings modern table management to contract work:

  • Reorder and select columns, including custom fields.

  • Combine filters for stage, tags, party, or creator.

  • Star important items and open documents in new tabs without losing your place.

  • Drag and drop files directly into folders with progress indicators and confirmations.

Faster performance everywhere

Every part of Horizon has been optimized for speed. Search, filtering, and data loading happen in real time. Infinite scroll and a reengineered backend make large datasets load instantly — even for enterprise-scale repositories.

What comes next

This November marks the launch of Horizon’s core AI experience: AI Search, Portfolio Copilot, AI Reporting, the new Inbox, and MCP access.

Over the coming months, Concord will expand the platform with:

  • Enhanced extraction and reporting templates

  • Improved collaboration and notifications

  • Extended integrations through Model Context Protocol (MCP)

  • Streamlined billing and account management

The end of contract software

Horizon marks the shift from contract management to contract intelligence.
Instead of teaching people how to use software, Horizon learns how your teams work — turning questions into insight, and insight into action.
