Starting this week, Concord customers on all plans will see some new filters and views when they sign into their Document Inbox. You can now filter your inbox by third parties, lifecycle, and more.

You can also now use custom document properties to personalize your views across several areas of Concord’s app, including your inbox and reports. And what’s more, custom properties for each contract are now included in a special kind of Excel export. Let’s dive in and see how these new features work!

Filter by third parties, lifecycle dates, and more

Custom Filters by Third Parties in Concord

Concord’s Document Inbox already gives you several different ways to control how you sort and filter your documents. And now, in addition to filtering by stage and tags, you can also filter by the following document properties:

  • Third parties (vendors)
  • Shared with (contract members)
  • Creator (even if the person has left your organization)
  • Lifecycle
These new filters make it easier than ever to zero in on the documents you’re looking for — and quickly get an overview of all documents shared with, or created by, a specific internal employee or external vendor.

Personalize views with custom document properties

View With Custom Properties in Concord

Concord already gives you a lot of flexibility in creating your own personalized views. For example, you can add or remove columns from your inbox, as well as from your views of folders, and even the reports you generate in Concord.

But now, you can also personalize your views based on custom properties you’ve added to documents. That means you can add any metadata you want to your documents — project names, cost ranges, etc. — and then use those custom properties to create personalized views across the following areas of Concord’s app:
  • Document Inbox
  • Reports
  • Starred documents
  • Folders
With views based on custom document properties, you get unprecedented control over what data Concord shows you, and how that data is presented to you.

Perform an advanced export that includes custom properties

Concord already gives you the ability to extract contract conditions as an Excel file. These data exports enable you to start analyzing contract data in Excel, or in your enterprise resource planning (ERP) software right away, without any need for manual data entry.

And now, you also have the option to perform an advanced export, which includes custom properties you’ve added to your contracts. That means you can export metadata including project titles, departments, and more, to an Excel spreadsheet — without having to type in any of that information manually.

Reports with custom properties make it even easier to extract contract data to construct budgets, create forecasts, and mitigate risk. These new advanced reports give you greater control than ever over how you pull your data out of Concord — saving you hours of time and repetitive labor.

These new features are just some of the ways we’re working to make Concord better and better every month. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
